FLOYDADA: 2015 production

Find out what's Peculiar now...

Behind the Curtain: Thursday, May 20, 2021
Take a peek Behind the Curtain with PWP's Ralph Lewis for a unique look at New York City’s earliest theaters. Through this virtual tour of the beginnings of Broadway, audiences will be introduced to its locations, its builders and managers, and the actors who made history on its stages. All proceeds from this performance will go to support the charitable programs of EAG which has provided emergency financial aid and career support to NYC’s professional performing artists in need for almost 100 years.

Our Mission

Peculiar Works Project was founded by Ralph Lewis, Catherine Porter and Barry Rowell to create original performances that are accessible and engaging for diverse audiences. Using various artistic disciplines in unique combinations, we challenge the conventions and clichés of alternative theater. From initial concept to full production, PWP encourages collaboration, experimentation and a rebel spirit in creative artists by providing the tools and opportunities to realize their artistic goals.
